As the whispers of our ancestors echo through the valley and cicada sing their Bushveld song to the setting sun, the timeless Blue Mountains fall asleep in their misty blankets and we settle down to rediscover our silver lining above the waters of the Steelpoort valley.

Silwerrand is a 236 hectare guest farm situated within the Steelpoort valley.  The area has a rich history as well as magnificent geological attractions and cultural heritage forming part of the Mapochseland. The farm is located 56 km from the Loskop valley, 28 km from Dullstroom, 65 km from Groblersdal and 76 from Lydenburg making it a perfect central point for visiting the nearby attractions and tourist towns.

There is a 6 person cottage with solar power, 3 bedrooms each with own facilities and also a camp site with 8 stands (max 6 people per stand) and ablution. The caretaker is always at the lodge for emergencies and questions.
